I am a casual biker. Had fine service from the same guy the first time I came in. This time was very different. The two older guys working were very agitated and impatient with me. They didn't fix the tuning of my gears properly until I brought it back in 5 min later, and requested the other guy fix it. I asked the first guy what he would do if it were his bike (after he gave up after 10 minutes) and he responded "well I wouldn't buy an entry level bike with entry level components." Hah! Sorry my $400+ bike isn't good enough to receive a proper tune up. Needless to say I won't come back here even though I am less than a minute walk away. These guys are ready to fire off arrogant remarks if you aren't a hard core biker- sounds unbelievable for customer service- but it's true.

Anytime I can buy local I can. I live in Livonia and the Westland location is closest to me but I always go to D&D Northville and deal with their manager, Mike. What a knowledgeable guy and just all around good person. He's helped me out in every way I could've asked for when making a purchase there. He has gone above and beyond what I would expect out of excellent customer service and surpassed those expectations every time.
They fixed my bike on a Sunday morning while I waited. Both the manager and/or owner and the bike mechanic were extremely knowledgeable, even about my old-school 1999 Specialized FSR. The price for the inspection and repair was quite reasonable.
You can't beat their prices, their warranties, their service plans, and most importantly the exeperience you have with any given staff member there. My family and I are D&D Northville customers for life!
They also had an Adult XL bike helmet in stock that was big enough to fit my gigantic grape.
